我们的弱势和低调导致不断的被鬼佬所欺负，还常听说中国留学生被本地人扔鸡蛋扔西红柿。
尤其是关于前一阵集 裸体，留学生，非主流90后，同居，强行入室，跳楼，性侵犯，种族歧视 于一身的中国留学生强奸跳楼事件终于告以段落，但具体细节仍然不清不楚。
这个事件影响很大，主要的故事是：89年生四川籍女孩卫料（化名），和89年韩国籍男友在WATERLOO的USYD (好像是burwood)预科附近同居，室友在楼下被人逼迫上楼进门，然后全体3女一男被胁迫脱光衣服，那一对被胁迫发生性行为，另外两个女孩未知，不久两个女性屋友跑到房间把门反锁，剩下外面一男一女搏斗，男夺刀，歹徒又拿出一把刀，挟持其女友，两人后失败并被迫从25米高处跳下去，女当场死亡，男终生残疾。
